The vendor is required to provide that food service upon request, copies of current price books or catalogs to any participant regarding products awarded by agency.
- Blanket orders may be issued for items listed herein for purchases during the current school year by nassau agency.
- Towards that end, agency proposes to award the lowest responsible bidder(s) blanket purchase agreements for these items.
- Information to be included in agency:
• The name or names of the toxic or hazardous substance include the generic or chemical name.
• The trade name of the chemical and any other commonly used name, if known.
• The level at the exposure to the substance is determined to be hazardous, if known.
• The acute and chronic effects of exposure at hazardous levels.
• The symptoms of such effects.
• The potential for flammability, explosion, and reactivity of such substance.
• Appropriate emergency treatment.
• Proper conditions for safe use and exposure to such toxic or hazardous substances.
• Procedures for clean-up of leaks and spills of such toxic or hazardous substances.
• An agency must be provided for all foreign manufactured chemicals in the same manner as required of domestic chemical manufacturers.
