The Vendor is required to provide software for grants management and city grants applications.
- Administration of the two programs requires a large amount of staff time and resources; to date, the applications and reporting have been exclusively in hard copy form; the plan is to make both grants available to the public online; the online portal will reduce the burden on city personnel and hopefully make the application process easier on users.
- To maximize efficiency, the software should include the following features:
• Ability to manage approximately 150 applications between the two grants
• Sort applications in alphabetical order for dissemination to review committee and council members
• Enable an automated hard stop for application submissions
• Prevent application submission with missing requirements such as – board of directors list, current state public charities letter, school letter
• Offer an instructional demo for users to help guide them through the online application process
• Scoring capabilities
• Award and reporting notifications
• Ideally, the software provider will set up the applications using the existing applications.
