The Vendor is required to provide security guard services for the operation at the community corrections building in county, the services are required from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Security guards must maintain an hourly shift log and a floor inspection log; must be provided to agency monthly.
- Security guards must be neat, clean, and must always wear a uniform and badge while on duty.
- Vendor must provide monthly written reports detailing the previous month's security-related activity and crime incidents that occurred; annually, the vendor will summarize and submit these reports to the customer on the anniversary date of the commencement of the contract.
- Vendor must complete an incident report within one (1) business day when a firearm is discharged, someone is injured, or a major criminal act or significant event occurs; these incidents require that they are verbally reported by the vendor to the agency immediately after the incident occurs.
-Specific requirements of the security guards:
- The security guard(s) must review the flow of traffic to determine the staffing requirements to maintain adequate coverage during the hours of operation.
- Metal detectors, x-ray equipment, and camera surveillance system may be provided by county board of county commissioners if required.
- A standard schedule at the facility during the week is as follows: from Monday through Friday, one officer will be stationed at the primary entrance from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the vendor is required to provide services during these hours at a flat rate; please note that hours exceeding 40 per week will not be compensated at overtime rates by the county; the vendor must ensure an adequate number of security personnel is available to cover the specified hours at a flat rate;  see the attached holiday schedule that services will not be needed.
